Hayle beach (St Ives Bay) is only a short car journey away from Serpentine Cottage
Famous for the three miles of soft & clean sandy beaches - stretching in a gentle crescent from Hayle beach to
 Godrevy Lighthouse, with superb panoramic views of St Ives, Carbis Bay and Godrevy Lighthouse,
The Lizard Chalet is about 100yds away from Hayle beach
An early morning walk along the deserted beach at Hayle Towans,
 is an experience  many of our guest's come  back to year after year.

 Gwithian Beach
is very popular with surfers
 only
a 10 minute drive from
Serpentine cottage

 the Lizards Chalet

Gwithian Beach

There have been many sightings
 of grey seals from
Godrevy Headland. It has also
 been reported that a pod
of Dolphins joined the
surfers at Gwithian.
